What I did
Outcomes
Overview
Starting in January 2025, I worked with Sentient Flow to design and launch Aver—a DeFAI (Decentralized Finance + AI) dApp built on Ethereum. Aver repurposed the AI infrastructure from Evolve AI to create a platform where cryptocurrency traders could interact with AI Agents for token analysis, trading insights, and wallet management. I led the design of the closed beta, delivering wallet connection flows, agent creation tools, chat interfaces with advanced markdown support, and wallet dashboards. Alongside marketing efforts, I also contributed to the $AVER token launch, helping the project gain early traction in the DeFi community.
Following the beta release, I collaborated daily with Engineering to design and deliver key features for the open beta, including agent optimization tools, token swap and staking components, a multi-wallet management system, and a watchlist portfolio experience. Aver launched into a bullish market cycle, peaking at a $5.25M market cap, and positioned itself at the intersection of AI innovation and decentralized finance.
Market Opportunity
Our team identified a growing trend of DeFAI projects gaining traction on Ethereum. With strong AI infrastructure already built for Evolve AI, the team decided to pivot part of the technology toward decentralized finance, creating Aver—a platform where traders could interact with AI Agents for crypto insights, trading, and wallet management.

$AVER Token Launch
The $AVER token launched shortly after the marketing campaign, coinciding with a bullish market cycle. While market conditions were favorable, the combination of hype, product vision, and community building helped the token reach a peak market cap of $5.25M during its initial surge.

I led the design of Aver’s closed beta, focusing on delivering a clean, intuitive platform for connecting wallets, building Agents, and interacting with AI through a rich chat experience. The core flows included MetaMask wallet connection, Agent selection, and real-time portfolio viewing.
In addition to providing prebuilt agents, I designed Agent creation tools that let users choose an AI model, customize behavior, and input instructions. To enhance communication inside chats, I implemented advanced markdown support, allowing the AI to generate formatted tables, quotes, code blocks, and charts—turning conversations into structured research tools.
User Feedback and Key
Insights
We launched the closed beta to 50 users and quickly gathered feedback that shaped Aver’s next phase. Users requested direct token trading features inside chats, multi-wallet management, and a way to save and track favorite tokens. These insights helped define the roadmap for the open beta release.
Swap and Staking
Components
To make Aver a true DeFi assistant, I designed and implemented token trading components inside the chat experience. Users could request swaps and staking actions conversationally, with the system generating pre-filled Swap or Staking Components for review and confirmation. The backend integrations were built using the 1Inch API for swaps and Alchemy’s API for staking Ethereum.
Wallet Management System
I expanded Aver’s wallet system to support multiple custodial and non-custodial wallets. Users could enable Agent trading on imported wallets by providing a private key (optional) or create new custodial wallets managed within the platform. I also designed flows for transferring, sending, and receiving tokens, creating a full wallet management experience alongside the AI Agents.
Watchlist and Portfolio Pages
To support better research and monitoring, I designed a Watchlist feature that allowed users to create portfolios of tokens they wanted to track. Clicking on a token opened a dedicated Token Profile page showing real-time price charts, project statistics, contract information, and community links—giving users quick access to essential trading data.
